Lead Microsoft SW Architect:
Microsoft Solutions Provider has an immediate need for experienced Architects to design solutions and serve as hands on technical leads on projects. The Architect is the driving technical force within, and is responsible for working with other Architects to set technical direction across projects, as well as ensuring the rest of the development staff is mentored on the newest technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a professional software developer at our client sites.
• Write, unit test, and document application .NET code following project design and architecture
• Write SQL queries
• Propose and establish architectures on small to large solutions
• Perform a technical lead or project management role on small to mid-sized projects
• Author whitepapers as required
• Mentor designers and developers in direct one-on-one and multicast formats
• Author the technical response in proposals

Requirements:
• Solid background in object-oriented techniques and technologies
• Strong problem solving skills
• Minimum of eleven years experience with C++, Java, Visual Basic or comparable languages
• Minimum of four years of  .NET application development experience
• Knowledge of, and experience with, both C# and Visual Basic .NET
• Deep understanding of the .NET Framework and the CLR
• Knowledge of protocols such as SOAP and HTTP
• Knowledge of transactional systems, queuing and COM+
• Proven ability to comfortably work with SQL Server in all but the advanced DBA tasks
• Strong understanding of design patterns
• Broad understanding of Microsoft technologies current capabilities and future directions
• Proven ability to plan and estimate deliverable dates, and  lead a team of developers and designers towards the successful completion of a project
• Proven ability to weigh client requirements and deadlines, and make practical architectural and implementation decisions
• Ability to convey design using modeling languages such as UML
• Strong speaking and writing skills
• Ability to take the lead in developing the technical response sections in proposals
• Ability to pass a government clearance process.  Holding an existing clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is a plus.
• MCAD/MCSD .NET certification.  Experience with InfoPath, Sharepoint or Biztalk a plus


* Financial Management Business Leader - Our client is a leading Management & Technology Consulting firm that provides specialized consulting services to the federal government.  They are seeking an Executive (Financial Management Business Leader) to lead their Financial and Resource Management efforts targeted to the Defense Community.  This leader should have experience marketing, selling and executing financial and resource management business in the Defense community.  This leader should also understand DoD financial management policies and best practices, know a wide range of Senior Financial Management Officials, understand the requirements for support to federal financial management improvement and transformation programs, and know how to address these requirements.  This individual will take a lead role with in refining and executing a business development and management strategy for defense and potentially intelligence agency financial management improvement programs.  Ideally, this leader will also have a minimum of ten years directly relevant consulting experience in financial management with at least half that time in the federal marketplace. 

* Cost Analyst - Cost Estimator:  Our client is a leading Management & Technology Consulting firm that provides specialized consulting services to the federal government.  They are seeking talented Cost Estimators and Cost Analyst (at all levels of experience) to join an experience and fast-growing team.  One of our client's teams provides specialized services in cost estimation and modeling for government agencies.  This team is continuing to grow at an annual rate of 30-40% and has over 600 employees. They are seeking entrepreneurial Cost Engineers and Cost Estimators who will build upon the firm’s success in this arena.  Their ideal candidate has a strong education in engineering and/or economics and experience in providing life cycle cost estimation to the federal government.

Position Title:  Technology Integration – Federal Sr. Consultants & Managers
Successful applicants will have experience in custom application development, data warehousing, enterprise portal integration, network & consolidation architecture, or related IT strategy and planning. Previous experience with all phases of the system development lifecycle is desirable with special consideration given for Federal Enterprise Architecture experience.

Position Summary:  Responsibilities include, among others, performing current state analysis, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation. Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels.  Consultants develop exposure and familiarity with multiple industries while achieving task and skill competence in the tool sets and services of the practices within the firm. Consultants will assist in proposal development, as requested.  Consultants function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:  Qualified candidates will possess the following:
• 2+ years of related experience in OO design and methodology.
• Java and J2EE server-side development skills with understanding of Web Services architecture and design.
• Experience with one of the following application servers: WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle 9i, Sun ONE
• Understanding of and experience with UML and RUP.
• Experience gathering user requirements and writing design documents, participating in JAD sessions, writing and executing unit and system tests.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.  Ability to understand the "big picture" and to identify and resolve key issues.  Strong sense of ownership and commitment
• Willingness to travel as needed.  Undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
